Every Year Chandi Homam will be conducted during last week of May.The Markandeya Puranam stresses very clearly that the Almighty Mother Athi Parasakthi always protects and shower her blessings to all her devotees in the form of Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswathy. Maha kali ,Maha Lakshmi and Maha Sarawathy combined and took the form of CHANDI and destroyed the most feared demons Chandan and Mundan to protect Celestial beings and human beings.During this Chandi Homam, the recital of the Sapthasathi consisting of 700 mantras from Devi Mahathmiyam together with the special poojas and homam will bring forth great benefits and success to all devotees and relieve them from problems.
